How it works

50 KB is the upper limit many forms set for passport-style photos. It is enough for a clear head-and-shoulders photo, so the tool rarely needs to shrink the dimensions much.

  1. 01

    Select your images

Tap Select images, or drop files here. JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC photos all work.

  2. 02

We fit them under 50 KB

Quality stays as high as the limit allows. If a photo is too big, its dimensions shrink just enough, and the new size is shown.

  3. 03

    Check and download

Each file shows its final size with a green tick. Download one by one or all at once as a ZIP.

Forms that use 50 KB

IBPS and SBI ask for photos of 20 to 50 KB in their 2026 notices, and CUET for signatures of 10 to 50 KB. When a form gives a range, switch to Size range in Settings so the file is not too small either.

Getting a photo the portal accepts

Size is only one rule. Portals also check dimensions, format and sometimes DPI. Enter all of them in Settings and every result shows a tick or a cross for each, so you know before you upload.

Questions people ask

Is 50 KB counted as 50000 or 51200 bytes?

Forms disagree, so we keep files under 50,000 bytes. That passes whichever way a form counts a kilobyte.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The resizing happens inside your browser, on your device. Our code never uploads your images, and the page works the same way offline once loaded.

What if the form also has a minimum size?

Open Settings, choose Size range and enter both limits, for example 10 to 20 KB. If an image ends up too small, the tool can pad it to the minimum without changing the picture.

Can I make it exactly 50 KB?

The tool aims just under the limit, usually within a few KB of it, because a file of exactly 50 KB can fail on forms that count 1,000 bytes per KB.
