How it works
iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many websites and Windows apps cannot open. This page converts them to JPG on your device, keeping full resolution.
- 01
Select your HEIC photos
Pick them from Photos or Files. Several at once is fine.
- 02
They convert straight away
Each photo becomes a JPG at 90% quality, upright and without location data.
- 03
Download or share
Save them as one ZIP, or share them straight to another app.
Which browsers work
Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac (version 17 or later) opens HEIC photos directly, so conversion works there today. Support for Chrome, Edge and Firefox is coming soon. Until then, you can set iPhone Camera → Formats → Most Compatible to take JPG photos in future.
Questions people ask
Does converting lose quality?
Very little: photos are saved at 90% JPG quality, which looks the same to the eye. Choose a higher quality in Settings if you need it.
Is my location removed?
Yes. Location and camera details are removed by default, which is safer when you share or upload photos.
Can I also make them smaller?
Yes. Open Settings and choose Max size, for example 200 KB.
