How we check exam rules
Last updated 15 October 2026
A wrong rule can cost someone an application, so exam pages follow a strict process.
- Official sources only. Every rule is copied from the official notice or bulletin, word for word, and the page links to it. When only a copy hosted elsewhere is available, we say so.
- Two people check every rule. One person enters it and a second checks it against the notice. Until both have, the page is not published.
- Dated and labelled. Each page shows the notice year, when the rule was last verified, and when the page was last updated.
- Fast updates. When a new notice comes out we re-check the rules within 48 hours. Until then, the page keeps last year's rules, clearly labelled with that year.
- Corrections. Reports of a wrong rule are checked within 24 hours during application windows. Every change is logged with its date and source.
We are not affiliated with any exam body. Always confirm the rules in your own notice. Report a mistake.
