How it works
Many forms want a signature at 140 × 60 pixels and between 10 and 20 KB. The tool fits your whole signature inside that size on a white background, then makes sure the file is inside the range.

Use a black or dark blue pen, then photograph the signature in good light.

Tips for a sharp signature
Crop the photo close around the signature before you start, so it fills more of the final image. Avoid shadows from your phone, and sign larger than usual: it is scaled down anyway.
If your form gives a different size, such as a size in cm, change it in Settings.
Questions people ask
Why is my signature file only 5 KB?
A small signature on white is simple to compress, so it can come out under the minimum. The tool raises the quality and then adds invisible padding until it reaches 10 KB.
Can I change the size?
Yes. Open Settings to set the pixels, a size in cm, the KB range or the format.
Can it remove the background?
A cleaner that whitens the paper and darkens the ink is coming soon. For now, photograph the signature on plain white paper in bright light.
